Online Yoga Taught One-to-One

I also teach live, one-on-one online yoga sessions. Online yoga is sometimes referred to as virtual yoga or private online yoga. These sessions are live, interactive, and taught via Zoom, FaceTime, Teams, or WhatsApp. Online yoga offers a practical way to practise with individual guidance, whether you’re at home, away for work, travelling, or staying in a hotel, so you can keep your practice consistent wherever you are.

I have the experience and level 3 certification required to design a bespoke session to meet the student’s individual needs.

What Happens in an Online Private Yoga Session

Online private yoga sessions are taught live, one-on-one. Because sessions are one-to-one, I can observe your movement and provide clear verbal yoga guidance. It also gives you the opportunity to practise yoga at your own pace and answer questions during the session.

Online Yoga FAQs

An online yoga session is a live, one-to-one yoga lesson delivered via video call. Online yoga is sometimes called virtual yoga, private online yoga, live online yoga, or Zoom yoga. Sessions are interactive and personalised, not pre-recorded.

I teach yoga rooted in the Iyengar method, with an emphasis on clarity, alignment, and safe progression. Each session is tailored to your experience level and your goals for your yoga practice.

Sessions are taught live using Zoom, FaceTime, Teams, or WhatsApp. You will need a reliable internet connection and a quiet space.

A laptop or iPad is usually best because the screen is larger and easier to work with. A phone can be used, but the screen can feel small, especially when you are moving between standing and floor-based poses.

At the start of your first session, we will set up your camera angle together so I can see you clearly. This usually means placing your device far enough back to see your full body when standing and adjusting the height so you are visible on the mat. Once it is set up, it is easy to repeat.

I’ve been seeing Anna for a number of years now. Initially in a group setting and now weekly for ‘one to one’ online tutorials/sessions. In addition I attend the workshops which run in Horsham, now planning to attend the Hove workshops.

Anna has been my yoga teacher for many years, within a group setting, face to face and online sessions. Anna is a supportive and encouraging teacher who gives information regarding the purpose and benefit of postures.
