This shows Mr. Iyengar around 90 years of age having an informal chat with an American journalist. It’s in the library in the basement of the institute in Pune, where I spent many hours in 40 degree heat taking notes. His answers about Yoga are interesting, but I’m also sharing this as I feel it gives an idea of his personality too. When I studied with the Iyengar family and met him in 2010 I saw this light hearted side to him too.
