Once a month I teach a restorative class. And this is the week! For some students it is their favourite, as they enjoy the slower way we tend to work. That does not mean it is necessarily ‘easier’. We still need to spend a lot of time upside down if possible (Sirsasana or Sarvangasana) as they are the antidote to our day to day life of being held down by gravity!
Then we find ways to expand the chest. Not just in an external way but to expand it in all directions. Observation of the breath can be guided in many fascinating ways. Finally we end with Savasana, with some silence to allow the breath to find its own natural ebb and flow. So please feel free to join one of my classes this week. Any questions? Just ask!
