Would you like to try yoga exercises for beginners at home?

Maybe you are unable to make it to yoga classes?  Or you are nervous about starting a class having never tried any yoga before?  Doing yoga exercises for beginners at home could be the answer.

Maybe you just cant seem to remember what you’ve done in your yoga classes?  That is more common that you might think.  Despite a plethora of yoga videos online, it is very hard to watch a screen and effectively perform yoga.  The old fashioned way of looking at a page often works better.  You can concentrate on what you are doing for longer without distraction.

Did you know that even 15 minutes of  daily home yoga practice could benefit you more than attending a weekly class?

How should you do yoga exercises for beginners?

Please use your common sense….

For example, don’t try headstand on your own if you have not been taught it before.

Try practising yoga exercises for beginners in front of a mirror to see if your pose resembles the picture.   Then you can correct yourself to improve the pose.  Remember you don’t need to go all the way into a pose, you can stop at a half way point.  You can repeat each pose and see if you can feel any improvement.  Use folded blankets or towels to sit on if you don’t own yoga blocks.    An old tie can be used instead of a yoga belt.  annalogo21.pngRolled towels or blankets can replace a yoga bolster.  Used carefully,  these yoga home practice sheets can complement your work in class or be used on their own.

Good luck!
